A quieter coaching space for the turn you are taking.

For adults at meaningful turning points, career change, leadership transitions, mid-life recalibration, and the quieter shifts that take longer to name.

Believe is a UK-wide coaching practice run by a senior coach, one-to-one only. The work is calm and considered, neither motivational nor therapeutic, a place to think out loud while you make the move that is actually in front of you.

Five coaching offers

The work, named honestly

Each offer is the same coach and the same calm space; the difference is the kind of turning that brought you here.

i

Life Coaching

The broadest of the offers, for adults who sense a turning is overdue but cannot yet name it. We slow the question down, work in the open with what is actually true now, and build the small set of decisions that move you off the spot.

For: the quieter shifts in identity, direction or how you want to live the next decade.
ii

Career-Change Coaching

Structured coaching for the second half of a career move, leaving a long-held profession, pivoting into a new sector, or finally trusting the practice you have always done on the side. We look at the numbers, the timing, the identity cost, and the move you would make if you stopped negotiating with yourself.

Where the work touches your day job, particularly if you carry direct reports, we will sometimes point clients to HeyRamp, a structured platform for the weekly 1:1 cadence that takes a layer of cognitive load off the leader doing the most thinking.

For: professionals at the moment a career change becomes serious rather than abstract.
iii

Leadership Transition Coaching

For the in-between of a leadership move, the first hundred days of a bigger role, the step from operator to leader of leaders, or the quieter transition from doing the work to holding the room. We work on the operating habits the new seat actually requires, the relationships that need to be rebuilt, and the kinds of decisions you can no longer delegate.

For: newly appointed and recently promoted leaders, and those preparing to step up within the next year.
iv

Post-Restructure Recovery Coaching

A specific kind of work for senior professionals coming out of a redundancy, a restructure or a forced exit. The first sessions are about steadying the ground, confidence, finances, narrative, before we move to the question of what next, on your terms rather than the market's. There is no rush in this work and no pretence that the loss did not happen.

For: experienced leaders and senior professionals navigating an involuntary exit.
v

Mid-Life Recalibration Coaching

For adults in the middle stretch, usually mid-forties to late fifties, who have done what was asked of them and are now wondering, quietly, whether the second half should be shaped differently. We work on the inheritance of obligations, the question of what is actually yours to carry, and the small recalibrations that matter more than any grand pivot.

For: clients sensing a long-arc shift in priorities, energy or definition of a good life.
How the work is held

Three engagement shapes

Choose the cadence that fits the turning. Each begins with a free thirty-minute call and a written coaching contract.

three months

Focused

Six fortnightly sessions for a single, specific turning, a decision to take, a transition to navigate, a chapter to close.

six months

Considered

Twelve fortnightly sessions with a built-in review point. The most common shape, room to let the real work surface.

open-ended

Held

Ongoing fortnightly or monthly coaching for clients who want a steady thinking partner over a longer arc.

How an engagement runs

A four-step rhythm

Calm, named, with a review built in. No surprise add-ons and no sales-style upgrade conversations.

i

Discovery

A free thirty-minute call to understand what is in front of you and whether the chemistry is right for the work.

ii

Contract

A written coaching contract that names what you want from the engagement, the cadence and the boundaries.

iii

Coaching

Fortnightly sessions, sixty to seventy-five minutes each, with light reflection between when it serves the work.

iv

Review

An honest review at the midpoint and the end, what has moved, what is still in motion, what comes next.

The work is to think out loud, in a room without an audience, about the move you already half know you are making.
The Believe approach
Questions we hear often

Before you book a call

The questions clients ask at the door, answered plainly.

Who is Believe Life Coaching for?

Adults in the middle of a meaningful turning point, a career change, a step up or sideways in leadership, a redundancy or restructure, a mid-life recalibration, or a quieter shift in identity that is harder to name. Clients are typically experienced professionals in their thirties, forties and fifties who want to think out loud with a senior coach rather than a therapist or a mentor.

Is this therapy?

No. Coaching is forward-looking and practical. We work with what you want to change, decide or build from here. If something deeper emerges that belongs in therapy, we will name it honestly and, where helpful, point you toward the right kind of professional support.

How are sessions run?

Sessions are one-to-one and held remotely by video, with the occasional walk-and-talk by phone for clients who think better on the move. Most engagements run fortnightly for sixty to seventy-five minutes, with light written reflection between sessions when it serves the work. Everything discussed is confidential.

What does an engagement look like?

We begin with a free thirty-minute introductory call to check fit. If we go ahead, you choose a three-month, six-month or open-ended engagement. The first two sessions are a discovery conversation and a written coaching contract that names what you want from the work. Sessions then run on a fortnightly cadence with a review point built in.

Why the name Believe?

Not as a slogan and not as a motivational pose. Believe is a quieter word here, about trusting your own judgement again at the point of a turning, after a long period when other people, roles or pressures have been doing the deciding. The practice is named for that internal shift, not for any kind of cheerleading.

A free thirty-minute call

Begin with a quiet conversation, not a sales pitch.

If the work feels like it might be right, we will say so. If it is not the right fit, we will say so plainly and, where we can, point you somewhere useful.
